Property Control Vendor Policies

The Property Control Vendor Policies have been created to clearly set the expectation for Vendors doing business with Walt Disney World Resort Property Control. These policies are designed to outline the ethical standards that govern how business will be conducted between Vendors and this department.

To become a Property Control Vendor, you must complete a Vendor Information form and submit a signed copy of the Walt Disney World Resort Property Control Vendor Policies statement. Non Cast Members and/or any person with a business entity not affiliated with Walt Disney World Resort are eligible to become Vendors.

To qualify and/or remain a Walt Disney World Resort Property Control Vendor, the Vendor and all of their employees must follow the procedures outlined below:

  • A Vendor shall not engage in any conduct that could be seen as improperly influencing any Walt Disney World Resort Cast Member. The exchange or offering of any money, gift item, personal service or unusual hospitality be either party is expressly prohibited. This prohibition is equally applicable to either party’s officers, employees, agents or immediate family.
  • All Vendors shall treat other guests, vendors and Property Control Cast Members with fairness, dignity and respect.
  • Any and all assets of Walt Disney World Resort shall only be purchased through Property Control.
  • A detailed Property Control sales receipt, of all items being removed from Walt Disney World Resort, shall be in the possession of the guest or vendor that is removing and/or transporting the items.
  • Solicitation, of any form, while on Walt Disney World Resort property is prohibited.
  • Any and all changes of information listed on the Vendor Information form must be communicated in writing to the Property Control Office Coordinator.
  • Any Walt Disney World Resort asset offered for sale to any vendor by an entity other than Walt Disney World Resort Property Control shall be refused and the incident reported to the Property Control Business Operations Manager.
  • Prices on hard ticketed items and the minimum offer amount set on sealed bid items are non-negotiable.
  • No item, either paid or unpaid for, may be held or stored for later purchase or pickup.
  • Vendors are prohibited from entering the backstage areas of Property Control unless accompanied by an authorized Property Control Cast Member.
  • Purchaser is solely responsible for the safe loading of all items purchased.
  • All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges of any kind on any item purchases through Property Control.
  • All items are sold and delivered to Buyer “as is, where is with all faults” Property Control makes no warranties of any nature whatsoever, express or implied, with the respect to any item, specifically including, but not limited to, warranties of design, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, or warranties arising from a course of dealing, usage or trade practice, all of which warranties Property Control hereby expressly disclaims.
  • Violation of any of the above Property Control Polices can lead to the immediate suspension of the Vendor’s right to conduct business with Walt Disney World Resort Property Control.
